The state engineering centre of " MSTU "STANKIN" carries out its activities with the financial support of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation Subprogram 5.1.1. Support and development of centers for the collective use of scientific equipment and unique scientific installations (2021-2023)
On February 21, 2019, the leadership of SEC MSTU STANKIN held a working meeting with the delegation of Huazhong State Technological University (China) with the participation of representatives of the Ministry of industry and trade of Russia. The main topic of the discussion was interuniversity cooperation in science and technology.
As the rector of MSTU "STANKIN" Elena Kataeva said in her opening speech, the tasks facing both organizations are very similar: the dynamic development of universities through a systematic transformation into scientific centers that combine science, education and production. "We are so similar that we simply can’t avoid cooperation" – said Elena Kataeva.
The head of the National research center of CNC systems of Huazhong State Technological University Chen Jihong expressed confidence that the potential and expert facilities of SEC MSTU "STANKIN" in the field of machine tool industry will allow him to become a reliable partner for the design and organization of production of new CNC machines and robotics. Mr. Jihong also presented achievements in the field of automation of machine-building industries.
During the meeting, the latest developments in the field of CNC systems were considered, as well as current problems and research areas were identified. In addition, the parties discussed possible scientific and academic exchanges between universities and the creation of educational center for retraining of engineers for the machine-tool industry in China based in MSTU "STANKIN".
