From 18 to 19 February Shardzha, UAE hosted the third meeting of the Working Group for Industry, Investment and Innovation of the Intergovernmental Russian-Emirate Commission for Trade, Economic and Technical Cooperation, chaired by the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade and Deputy A.V.Gruzdev and Minister of energy and industry of the United Arab Emirates Mohammed Al-Niyyadi.
Vice-rector for scientific and technical policy Alexander Zelensky and vice-rector for cooperation with industrial partners and Development Dmitry Nikitin acted as moderators of the section devoted to scientific and technological cooperation.
Dmitri Nikitin noted that "STANKIN" is interested in the development of mutually beneficial bilateral work with educational institutions and industry of UAE companies, including the Khalifa University, to conduct joint research and development work in the field of digital production and innovative production technologies, as well as in the implementation of student exchange programs.
Alexander Zelensky emphasized the important role played by the development of cooperation mechanisms through industry associations.
The meeting resulted in proposals on the cooperation of MSTU "STANKIN" with partners from the UAE in the field of automation and digitalization of the industry and human resource development.
