Elena Georgievna was a strong personality. Her openness, love of life, willingness to give all of herself to work, made every day of STANKIN bright and memorable. Elena Georgievna's competence and moral qualities amazed many of us. We went to her for personal advice, both as a wise woman and as a competent leader capable of solving any work issue. She took care of everybody like a mother, she managed to be a strict and demanding leader, and at the same time a kind and cheerful person.
For Elena Georgievna, there were no trifles. She lived at the university, loved it with all her heart. Students, teachers, alumni, employees and veterans of the university were in her care and daily attention. The news that she was gone echoed with pain in the hearts of all of us.

She was a true intellectual, an interesting conversationalist, possessed a brilliant intellect and great erudition. It will be impossible for all of us to imagine a university without her.
