On June 20 in MSTU "STANKIN" was held a meeting of the Ministry of industry and trade of Russia on the development of the tool industry. The meeting was attended by more than 40 leading domestic manufacturers of tools, organizations of the military and industrial complex, specialized research centres, the largest industry associations - the Union of machine builders of Russia and the Association “Stankoinstrument”.

On May 28, 2019, at the Expocentre Fairgrounds within the framework of the exhibition "Metalloobrabotka-2019" was held the forum for postgraduates, young scientists of SEC of "MSTU "STANKIN" and students of specialty skills "Automation and information technologies", with the participation of invited experts-practitioners under the auspices of the Association "Digital innovations in mechanical engineering".

On February 21, 2019, the leadership of SEC MSTU STANKIN held a working meeting with the delegation of Huazhong State Technological University (China) with the participation of representatives of the Ministry of industry and trade of Russia. The main topic of the discussion was interuniversity cooperation in science and technology.

From 23 to 27 October 2018, the French-Russian strategic session “Technologies of additive manufacturing” was held in Moscow, where representatives of companies working in the field of additive technologies from Russia and France gathered for a dialogue. The session was organized by the Center of Scientific and Technological Cooperation NaukaInnov of the French-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry CCIFranceRussie.
